Advisor-focused privacy workflowAdvisor review remains requiredLast Updated: April 2026

AI Valuation Insight supports boutique M&A advisors running branded assessments, draft report generation, and follow-up readiness workflows. This page describes the current data-handling approach in product terms rather than certification claims.

1. Information collection and product use

When a business owner completes an exit readiness assessment, we store the submitted assessment information, related workflow data, and generated draft outputs so the issuing advisor can review and use them inside the product.

  • Examples of data we may collect: company profile details, assessment responses, generated report drafts, workflow actions, and advisor branding settings.
  • We do not ask for unnecessary direct identifiers such as Social Security Numbers or bank account login credentials as part of the standard assessment workflow.

2. AI-assisted drafting and review boundaries

Data Security Commitment: We access AI services via secure enterprise APIs. We do not use, share, or sell your submitted assessment data, business profiles, or draft reports to train third-party foundation models.

AIVI uses provider-managed AI infrastructure to generate draft reports and workflow outputs. We use structured prompts and workflow controls to improve consistency, but generated content can still contain errors and must be reviewed by the advisor before external use.

  • We use secure, zero-data-retention APIs where available. Your transaction-level details, client financial outputs, and draft reports are never stored or processed by our AI providers for the purpose of model training or algorithm improvements.
  • Generated outputs are intended to support advisory workflows, not replace professional review.
  • Assessment data may be included in prompts needed to create report drafts and related workflow artifacts.
  • Advisors remain responsible for checking accuracy, appropriateness, and final delivery decisions.

3. Data retention, access, and deletion

Advisors can request access, export, correction, deletion, or opt-out support through the privacy request workflow. Requests should be verified and processed through the documented workflow rather than treated as automatic legal conclusions.

Where AIVI processes data on behalf of an advisor for client-facing workflows, the advisor may act as the primary business contact for the end client relationship.

4. Local storage and internal analytics

The product currently uses limited local storage for consent preferences and may record limited internal product analytics needed to support product operations, workflow tracking, and administrative review.
